ABOUT MIKE SWISHER

Mike Swisher served as the Head Golf Professional at Lebanon Country Club from 1969 through 2010 and was one of the most influential figures in Lebanon County golf. He was instrumental in developing the Lebanon County Junior Golf Program and dedicated his career to growing the game, especially among junior golfers.

More than a teacher, Mike was a mentor—instilling sportsmanship, integrity, and a lifelong appreciation for the game in generations of players.

PURPOSE OF THE SCHOLARSHIP

The Mike Swisher Scholarship Fund was established to honor his legacy by supporting young individuals who have been positively impacted by the game of golf.

The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate:

  • Commitment to the game of golf
  • Strong character and sportsmanship
  • Academic achievement
  • Community involvement

Scholarship Details

Each year, scholarships are awarded to deserving students from the Lebanon County area who have demonstrated involvement in golf along with excellence in academics and community service.

  • Multiple scholarships awarded annually
  • Typical awards range from $1,000–$2,000 per recipient
  • Open to students with a connection to the game of golf

LCGA SUPPORT

The Lebanon County Golf Association is proud to support the Mike Swisher Scholarship Fund through various events and fundraising efforts throughout the season.

Proceeds from select LCGA events—including 50/50 raffles—help directly contribute to the scholarship and its recipients.
